Up-to-date data on the current waiting lists and waiting times for neurodevelopmental assessments across Scotland. It sets out the current and future policy for neurodivergent people in Scotland and surveys the current provision of neurodevelopmental pathways across all fourteen territorial NHS boards.

Autistic Adult Support Fund (AASF) Evaluation Summary Report, 2025

The 'Autistic Adult Support Fund (AASF) Evaluation Summary Report' (May 2025) by Assenti Research, commissioned by Inspiring Scotland, assesses the impact of the Autistic Adult Support Fund programme that ran until March 2025. The fund was launched by the Scottish Government in 2023 to provide support to formally diagnosed and self-identifying autistic adults, as well as their families and carers, to better understand autism, navigate diagnosis, and improve wellbeing. Recommendations from the evaluation emphasize expanding availability of autistic-led, evidence-based, sustainable pre- and post-diagnostic support, integrating support services, and developing shared quality assurance measures.

Embrace Autism Evaluation Report, 2024

The 'Embrace Autism Evaluation Report' (December 2024) details a Scotland-wide support programme for autistic adults, particularly those recently diagnosed or self-identifying as autistic. The programme, delivered as a partnership between Autistic Knowledge Development (AKD), an autistic-led think tank, and the National Autistic Society Scotland (NAS Scotland), is funded by Inspiring Scotland through the Scottish Government's Autistic Adult Support Fund.

The report, published in March 2023, identifies challenges autistic people face when trying to access Self-directed Support in Scotland and provides recommendations for improvements.

The Accountability Gap, 2020

'The Accountability Gap' report, published in October 2020 by the Cross-Party Group on Autism at the Scottish Parliament, is a review of the Scottish Government’s 10-year Scottish Strategy for Autism.

Autism and Complex Care Needs, 2019

The recommendations in the report are primarily aimed at NHS Boards, Integration Authorities and Local Authorities, Scottish Government, Health and Social Care Services Providers and Mental Health and Learning Disability Services. The report emphasises the importance of multidisciplinary team involvement in ASD diagnosis including psychiatry, psychology, nursing, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy.
